Casa de Playa is an homage to the cherished scents of the coast, where the soft saltiness of the sea air lingers on the skin long after leaving the water - a tribute to my mother, who adores these moments.
As it burns, it releases the sweetness of coconut combined with the delicate floral notes of iris and orchid, underpinned by light musk and the earthy depth of sandalwood. It captures the serene melancholy and tender touch of the ocean breeze, intricately designed for those drawn to a hint of romance in the air.
It's not a beach scent in the usual sense.
It's the after part of the beach - when the air cools, the salt clings, and a trace of perfume still drifts in the breeze. Familiar. Nostalgic. A little undone
Each Casa de Playa candle rests in hand-built, marble-toned stoneware - sandy hues and oceanic movement running through each form. No two alike.
Fired at 1222°C and finished with food-safe glazes, the vessel is waterproof, heat-safe, and meant to outlive the flame - to keep, refill, or repurpose.

We work with a proprietary blend of vegetable waxes that gives an even, controlled burn and keeps the fragrance clean in the air. It's our way of fine-tuning how scent lives in space.

For the first burn, allow the candle to burn for at least two hours to ensure an even melt pool. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use. Avoid drafts and do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Extinguish carefully and allow to cool completely before handling.
Safety: Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Vessel may become hot during use. Handle with care.

Once your candle has fully burned, remove residual wax by gently scraping with a plastic tool. Wipe clean with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reuse. The vessel is waterproof, food-safe, and designed to live on - as a keepsake or for practical reuse.
