Gua Sha has roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine—used for centuries to help move stagnant energy, promote circulation, and soften tension in the body.

This version is made from medical grade stainless steel, chosen for its smooth glide, hygienic surface, and substantial feel in the hand. It doesn’t shatter, it doesn’t absorb product, and it feels naturally cool without needing to be chilled. You can run it under water if that’s your thing—but it’s the weight that gives it presence.

You don’t need perfect technique. You just need time, oil, and a few minutes of uninterrupted care. It’s a ritual—not a routine.

 

  • Start with clean, slightly damp skin. Mist with thermal water or Florés Hydrating Essence Mist—hydrating first helps your oil absorb more evenly and gives the tool a smoother glide without needing a heavy layer.

    Follow with a few drops of oil serum (any of our elixirs work well). Warm it between your palms, then press into the face and neck.

    Hold the tool almost flat for a gentle sweep, not a scrape.

    • Neck: From collarbone to jaw, then base of neck to ear.

    • Face: Along the jawline, then mouth to cheekbone. Use featherlight pressure under the eyes.

    • Forehead: Long strokes from center to temple.

    Wipe the tool between areas if needed. Whether you’re here to sculpt, release tension, or simply slow down, let each stroke feel like a signal to soften.

    Once or twice a week is plenty—or whenever your skin feels sluggish, your jaw feels tight, or you need a moment to pause.

    • Skip any areas with active breakouts, broken skin, or recent injectables. The goal is to move lymph—not bacteria.

    • Some redness is normal and expected; it’s a sign of increased circulation. But if you see bruising, ease up. The tool is designed to glide, not press hard.

    • There’s no need to refrigerate your gua sha—though if a cooling effect feels good, running it under cold water for a few seconds works just as well.

  • Stainless steel is non-porous, which means it won’t absorb oils or bacteria. But residue still builds up over time.

    After each use, wash the tool with gentle soap—your facial cleanser works perfectly. Rinse well and let it dry completely before putting it away.
